Celebrate the return to light on Winter Solstice with yoga to live ambient music!  The solstice marks the shortest day of the year.  Moving forward, each day presents us with more sunlight to share.

Move the body through strong +  sweet postures.  Wash worries of the mind away.   Fill the senses with music + candle light.  Realign + reset your intentions as we celebrate the re-emergence of light.

Live music by Sineqube, the ambient music project of Kevin Holland and Jennifer Dutiel will set the soundscape for the evening.  Together, they create original improvised music by orchestrating and layering vast timbral palettes of guitar and voice.  Playing with the balance between the gentle, soothing bed of ambience and the uncharted frontiers of experimental music, they fuse elements of both to paint a live aural canvas that is exploratory, soothing and inviting.

Yoga will be lead by Colleen Gallick. Colleen is a 500-hour trained yoga instructor with a wide breadth of experience.  You can find her throughout Columbus teaching power yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, teen yoga, oil-infused yoga, meditation and much more.  Regardless of the practice she is teaching, Colleen comes back to the pillars of acceptance and openness to every flow she leads.  Every moment on the mat is an opportunity to notice thoughts + sensations to make positive shifts in life.
