Yamuna Body Rolling is a movement education system founded on the principles of yoga. YBR will allow you take your yoga practice to a deeper level by teaching you to identify and correct negative movement patterns in your body that can lead to pain, restriction, and injury.

Saturday, March 7

The seven crystal singing bowls vibrate at different frequencies of the musical scale which also correspond to the body’s energy centers (chakras). Colleen will lead you through a restorative practice of poses chosen to balance our chakras one-by-one while adding in a layer of vibration in each pose. We will end in a resting pose and enjoy a sound bath of tones played in a song for full-body alignment and ease.

Stepping into a yoga class can be daunting. You may find yourself in the wrong class, utterly confused, head spinning as directions in a foreign language come at you. But surely you have also heard of the immense benefits yoga brings to its practitioners. How does one get from point A to point B?
At Centered, we are passionate about accessible yoga. Not watered down, but accepting of all bodies and abilities. It’s never too late to return to those resolutions! ign up for our 6-week Beginners Yoga Series 2020.
There is nothing we recommend more for someone new to yoga, than a beginner series. Students will receive special attention to find comfort in their bodies as they practice, and will learn how to adjust yoga to their needs in any season of life. We will touch upon yoga history, go through poses step by step, and generally make the yoga world much less intimidating. Our goal is to provide space for personal growth and to build confidence in our beloved students!

Led by Kelli Hess, RYT 500, prenatal yoga ncorporates gentle yoga postures, relaxation techniques, + skills to remain centered and calm during labor, delivery, and motherhood.
Learn poses to address typical discomforts of pregnancy + build strength, flexibility + endurance.
This class is appropriate for new beginners + also experienced yogis looking to learn specific skills to utilize during pregnancy.
Enjoy stretching, breathing techniques, meditation and periods of deep relaxation.
Should be in the 2nd or 3rd trimester.

Immerse yourself in the fundamentals of Tai Chi. Marya Barrios will guide you through fundamental form, movements and stances. You will also work through breathing techniques of this martial arts practice. Benefits include improvement of balance, flexibility, muscle strength and confidence.

By coming to a deep understanding of who we are, we become wisely and compassionately aware. The heart of Zen is directly experiencing this awareness. It grants us genuine insight, which informs our actions in the world.
In this series, students will be introduced to the fundamental practices and philosophy of Zen, including the essential “returning home and calmly resting” concentration-meditation practice.
This series is appropriate for all students, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners in all traditions.
In 2017, Dan finally followed his dreams and began teaching his unique martial arts curriculum and Zen full-time. Dan is an Ohio Stare University graduate with a B.A (‘08) and M.A (‘10) in Chinese language and culture, lived and worked in China for several years, and now lives in Columbus with his wife, 2 daughters, 2 dogs and a cat.

Join us for a late afternoon of exploration in self care. As you melt into calmness through breath and meditation, receive reflexology on your hard-working feet. Riann Taylor of Balanced Tree Reflexology will lead you through a reflexology workshop. Learn how to apply these methods on your own feet. We will create individualized sock maps to help replicate these newly learned skills at home. End the workshop with gentle + glorious movement to further restore the body.
