Our  six week Strength + Tone Yoga Series is intended to build endurance, increase stamina and emphasize sequences that develop strength, flexibility and mindfulness.  These upbeat classes can be modified for all levels.

All classes implement elements of strength, balance and cardiovascular fitness, with each week honing in on lower body, upper body and core.  Enjoy vinyasa flow classes featuring energizing postures with added sculpting exercises inspired by bodyweight workouts. Eventually, savor relaxing and well-deserved stretches, restoration and meditation.

​“I can’t meditate!” Have you ever found yourself saying this? Believe what you’ve heard about meditation: it’ll focus your mind, open your heart, and sometimes surprise you with insight – and it’s not complicated to learn. In fact, everything  you need to get started with a meditation practice is found in this six-week course. Through seated meditation practice, Dharma talk, and group discussion, you’ll learn the basics along with advice for bringing the wisdom and compassion you discover through meditation into other areas of your life.

Week Two — Be Consistent and Gentle in Your Practice
Week Three — Overcoming Obstacles in Meditation
Week Four — Working With Emotions and Discovering Peace of Mind

Daniel Sernicola is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), Reiki Master Teacher (RMT), and holds certifications in meditation, pranayama (breath), Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Trauma, Yoga for Athletes, and Aromatherapy. A practicing Buddhist in the Shambhala Buddhist lineage, he has provided trainings to companies and inviduals seeking to deepen their meditation practice. His former career in corporate marketing combined with a deep passion for yoga, Buddhist texts, extensive studies in linguistics and conceptual expression, and his passion for Conscious Language is incorporated into trainings.

Nia Fundamentals - 4 Week Series

​In this distinctive 4 week series, we will play with the Movement Arts that inspire the 52 moves of Nia.  We will explore the Martial Arts (Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Tai Chi), the Dance Arts (Jazz, Modern, Duncan) and the Healing Arts (Yoga, Feldenkrais Method, Alexander Technique).  

Whether you are new to Nia or have an experienced background, this series is perfect for you.  Learn more about the technique and the freedom we each have to personalize every class to our unique selves.  Each week will feature new songs, a new focus and intent.  The final week will include requests from the class.  

No previous experience in Nia or any movement forms is needed.  Appropriate for all fitness levels.  Understand the movements of Nia and discover movements that speak to you!
