Taylor Johnson Free Flow Instructor

Taylor Johnson is a Columbus native and a recent graduate of The Juilliard School (class of 2016). She received her BFA in dance and completed her yoga teacher training at Yoga on High, shortly after finishing her undergraduate degree. She is trained in a wide range of styles of dance, including Limon, Cunningham, Graham, Horton, improvisation, classical & contemporary partnering and dance composition. When she returned to Columbus, Taylor created and directed a summer program for kids at The Salvation Army.
Taylor is interested in the intersection of dance and yoga, which she likes to call free movement. Her yogic style incorporates creative transitions, and is less about the finished pose and more about the “in between.” She loves to dabble in a range of physical activities, from yoga to dance to hiking to rock climbing, and really anything that is physically challenging. When she is not doing one of those things, she is joyfully busy raising her baby Levi alongside her husband in Clintonville.
