Susan Hackbarth Vinyasa Instructor
Susan discovered the healing and strengthening benefits of yoga as a means of recovery from a knee injury during a tennis tournament. She fell in love with the practice and after 16 years of much benefit to her mind, body and spirit, Susan completed a 200-hour Teacher Training program at Yoga On High. With a focus on “Yoga for Healthy Living & Aging Gracefully”, her desire is to share the benefits of yoga & make yoga accessible to students of all ages and backgrounds. She teaches various styles of yoga, including hatha, vinyasa and chair but always in a safe, supported environment with a focus on alignment and breath to build strength, flexibility & mindfulness. She is conscientious of each student’s unique physical needs & challenges & offers modifications to both nurture & challenge students. As an executive recruiter in her past professional life, Susan helped many find & enhance their career path & brings this same passion to the mat as she helps students discover their personal yoga path. Susan lives in Upper Arlington and loves spending time with her husband and four grown children and enjoys biking, traveling and watercolor classes.
